Where in the world do I begin''

My husband and I moved here in April 2007. When we first moved here, we like many people were promised "lots" of parking... HA HA! We ended up having to pay for (which isn't a terribly huge issue) a covered parking spot and a garage two buildings down from the one where we live.

Now, here is where it gets interesting. We technically have three vehicles. Two that we drive on a regular basis, and one that stays in the garage because it's my husband's project car... and it is not registered or inspected. Around the middle of August, we moved the "project" car out of our garage because my husband and his father were going to change the breaks on his sister's truck. It was storming really bad that night, and we just closed the garage door and didn't move the car back in. Well, the following day when we went to move the car back in, our garage door would not work. We reported the problem to management and were told that the garage door probably shorted out sometime during the storm and they would repair the garage door and let us back in.

So, about three weeks go by, and nothing is done to repair the door. My husband goes to the apartment office and requests to be let into the garage. When the garage door is opened, we find out that they have moved someone else's stuff into our garage, and when this someone else came to remove his personal belongings, removed ours as well. So not only have we been paying rent on a garage we can not get into, we have had our stuff stolen as well.

Six weeks have gone by... and this "project" car has now been towed because we STILL CAN NOT GET INTO OUR GARAGE!! We have paid over $200 for a garage that we have not seen the inside of other than looking for our missing belongings!!

I also apparently moved into the building where we are the only adults without children. The kids in this part of the complex run around screaming, yelling, and they leave their scooters in the road for people to run over.

So, in essence, if you want to walk a mile to your car every day, have your stuff moved out for you, and pay for a garage you can't even use... move to Sequoia! If not, STAY AWAY!
