I am going to copy/paste the gist of an e-mail I got from our horribly LAZY management earlier today. This management is SO lazy that they're forcing their residents to do everything online. They don't bother to so much as suggest an alternative for those of us who would rather do business over the phone or in person. What a bunch of idiots. I can't wait for my lease to be up, because I can't stand the people in the office, with exception of 2. These people are FOOLS and the only reason this complex stays full of occupants is because of the uptown location. Without further adieu, here is the e-mail:

Good afternoon residents of Thirty377!!

We hope you are surviving the blistering summer heat and humidity!!

First, we want to apologize for the repeated e-mails over the last six months. The purpose behind the repeated correspondence has been to promote your resident portal.

Each resident at Thirty377 have been sent a logon name and temporary password. As a resident at Thirty377 you need to have access to your portal for numerous reasons...

1. As we go paperless, you will be renewing your lease online
2. Community calendar will be online to replace the flyers you receive what seems like daily
3. We would like all rent to be paid online and all service requests to be completed online


you ask: "Why do I have to submit my Service Requests online''"

The purpose behind automating the admin functions is to free us up to serve you better...

you ask: "Why can't I drop off my rent check at the office''"

** We are closing our night drop box starting tomorrow as DFW has experienced heightened criminal activity where checks have been stolen from drop boxes. You can pay online...

When you utilize your resident portal, it allows us to respond to service requests quicker, ensure rent is never late, and most of all allows us to concentrate on you!!!

Are you kidding me??? Clearly this person is very unhappy with life, it sounds to me like the property is trying to make life easier for the residents.. Also be more earth friendly going paperless. Get with the program the world is online!!! checks are a thing of the past!!!!

Response to "this person is very unhappy with life" - I am not so sure about that, don't pass judgment so easily. Maybe this person didn't find a good example to show how pathetic that management is. I agree with you, all those initiatives seem to be excellent, but I know that management sucks big time (I lived there) so maybe he just chose a bad example.

i agree with Anonymous. Who uses checks anymore? Everything is done online now and this seems really convenient to me. I am planning on leasing at thirty377 in January and I feel really optimistic about it... victork... you really need to get a life. you had a poor experience with a landlord... it happens to the best of us. Stop living in the past and get over it.
