Cockroach Luxury

The only thing luxury about this place is the price. My apartment wasn't ready when I moved it. I couldn't complete the move-in process until I'd signed a form saying that the apartment was in perfect condition . . . even though I hadn't seen it yet! The leasing agent told me all about new gym equipment that had already been approbed and would be delivered the same week I moved in. Its been six months, and it still isn't here.
The apartment itself is nice, but only as long as the lights are on . . . this place has a major cockraoch problem. The building are old, so the electricity bill for my one-bedroom apartment runs about $125 a month.
The worst part is that you think you're paying to live in a gated, secure complex, but there isn't any security and the gates have been broken three weeks in the last month. On Friday, we received notice that there had been lots of brake-ins in the complex recently . . . without a single apology for the lack of security gates.
I pay a lot to live here, but I'm still not exactly sure what I'm paying for. I could find an old unit with cockroaches and unresponsive management for a whole lot less!
