5 years tenant who won't renew

Years at this apartment: 2003 - 2008

I just wanted to post a resounding affirmation to all the previous posts. I have lived in this apartment over almost 5 years now and I am at the point of disappointment with this apartment complex. While the layout and apartment itself are nice - the management and people that have moved into this property have gone downhill rather quickly. I have noticed over the course of the last 6 months to a year the property is being over run with hooligans. There is always trash laying around in the complex and no one is mindful of picking it up. Not to mention the extremely unfriendly staff that works at this complex. They are in NO WAY helpful and do not give any recognition to people who have lived there a long time. I agree with another poster - they are more concerned with new tenants then keeping the old tenants happy. I can not wait to move out of my apartment and find another community who will appreciate me as a tenant.

I can't agree more! As of the end of my lease coming up here in a couple months, I will have lived here about 3 1/2 years. I agree 100% the people moving in are such low quality and no one seems to care about maintaining the cleanliness (ie putting trash out on a daily basis and not just on trash days!). Did anyone notice the 2 police cars patrolling the complex on Friday night, and then the helicopter that hovered overhead for 10 mins with his spotlight on?? The spotlight was shining on the building next to mine for almost 5 mins straight! Needless to say, that's enough reason for me to look elsewhere!
