I live here as well...and in my opinion will not leave my apartment at night anymore. Police are called daily this month, and its getting worse. The facts are non-disputable ! Would not suggest living anywhere on Timberglen Rd until the crime rate decreases! Good luck......lock the doors ! Lock your car....dont walk through the parking lot at night!

Yes, the whole area is going downhill fast. There is such a saturation of apt. complexes and so many people in the area. And I am VERY disappointed that in spite of the fact that the Verandas at Timberglen Management had said many times at the beginning of 2008 that the gates were going to be re-programmed so Tolltag's no longer open the gates, this has not happened as of August, 2008; particularly since the property borders the Tollway --- anybody with a Tolltag can get onto the property. I am very concerned about the people who just seem to be wandering around the property. I also try to get any errands run before going home so I don't have to go out again in the late evening. My first hand experience with neighbors who have moved into my building in the last year since Lincoln Properties has taken over include someone with multiple eviction proceedings from another property within a year of moving to Verandas at Timberglen; underage people being rented to who throw multiple, disruptive drinking parties, and vandalize; and another tenant with an outstanding criminal warrant. I wanted to believe that Lincoln Properties was going to maintain some order and propriety at this property, but instead I'm counting the days until my lease expires.

You may be able to get out of your lease if you feel unsafe and are unable to have peace and quiet. Call the Texas Tenant Association: 214 828 4244, they can walk you through the steps. We have rights as tenants too!
