I have lived at the Verandas for almost 4 years now and overall I have had a good experience. The staff has always been courteous and helpful with any issues that have come up. After living in the apartment for 1 year I was afraid my rent was going to sky rocket b/c I had received a really good rate when I first moved in. I wrote a letter to the staff that I was going to be student teaching and would not have a lot of income for 5 months. They barely raised my rent and the next lease I signed they didn't raise my rent at all.

My apartment was broken into September 2008 and maintenance was very quick to help me get my apartment back in order and install any security measures I wanted to make me feel safe again in my apartment. They checked on me to ensure I was safe. Living on the 1st floor I had a few incidents with bugs; however, the staff was very quick to help me resolve these issues. I spoke with Monica, the manager, who worked with me until everything was taken care of. I am in the process of moving out ONLY because I am purchasing a house for myself and my daughter. If I wasn t in need of more room I would stay in these apartments for a longer time.

Overall, my experience at the Verandas has been a very good one and I would definitely recommend these apartments to anyone.
