For the smallest one bedroom; almost $500.00 in June before BH Management had their awesome maintenence manager finally discover that too much trash was wrapped around the inner coils. The unit was still very old with a freon leak which had to be recharged weekly. The results were staggering electric bills. BH Management couldn't care less, did not replace the unit, nor gave any type of credit even though they are fully aware of the issue. After cleaning the a/c unit our electric bill dropped to almost $400.00 in July. We got out of there by August, still with an electic bill of 300.00 for a partial month.
We lived there for over 6 years and the property manager told me that after that many years they would have to do a complete re-do on the unit. I cleaned the apartment and was still sent a cleaning bill. The a/c unit was not the only old non-functioning applicance, just the most expensive.
Best part; when you feel the stress of a high electric bill and the management company and new owners don't give a rat's ass, you can go for a peaceful walk around White Rock Lake or next door to the arboretum.
