Ok, the reasons that we all read apartment reviews is because we want to know how the place is rated, and will it be a good place for you to live for 6 months to a year. So, without further ado, let's skip the rhetoric and hit the basics:
MANAGEMENT: In a word: Inexperienced. Furthermore, there is a HUGE lack of communication between you and them. Hopefully, you're bilingual, or maybe even multilingial if you plan on getting your problems across. The maintenance you require is often not done at all, and if so, the timing is awful. The only way that I got things accomplished was by writing a certified letter. Donna, the manager, is really the only one who shows concern, the others are just there for a paycheck. She'd be better off if she'd hire more experienced personnel. Horrible, horrible, management. I rate it, a (0)
NOISE: If you enjoy loud, annoying circus music, you'll love this place, seriously! Noise gets a (1)
PARKING: Dont like your neighbors' They'll show that they dont like you either by parking in your parking space....over, and over again. Or, how about if you have two cars....well, that's too bad; you'll have to choose which one stays under cover, leaving the other to fry in the sun. I must admit though, the covered parking is a cool feature, probably the only good thing that the place has to offer. There arent any parking stickers about the place, even though there are signs that says differently, so you really dont know who lives there, or who just decided to ditch a car in your spot. Parking gets a (1)
Hold on to your hats.....MAINTENANCE: They are the laziest, guys and ladies on the planet. Since my wife and I moved in, we've been having hot water problems, that just "refused" to get resolved in a resonable amount of time.......2 MONTHS! I requested that we move to a different unit, and Donna did that for us. (ThankYou!)Also, Men, if your wives, or girlfriends are attractive, do all the housework yourself. The maint. guys all stare at my wife, and she feels uncomfortable being there alone when we need repairs. Shame. Horrible, horrible shame. Though they may come (when they get ready) and fix the problem, you'll be calling them back within the week to redo what they "fixed." Maint. gets a cold (0)
KID SAFE': For the most part, yes. There are lots of kids that are always playing outside, and thank God for speed bumps. Plus, all the noise from the cars that pass by give plenty of warning time for kids to adequately move out of the street.
CONSTRUCTION: Well, I think our apartment is leaning. Newly rebuild fences, though.
They have a bad habit of not wanting to replace the carpet, leaving the previous owners pet smell to haunt your apartment.
GENERAL UPKEEP. Kinda lame, actually. The pool is mostly dirty; the basketball court that is on the website doesnt exist. AND THERE ARE PLENTY OF ROACHES THAT FINDS THEIR WAY INTO YOUR HOUSE!! The pest problem is a HUGE ordeal, but, most of the resident seem to not mind. The grounds in the front are kept quite nicely, however, for the passersby. Hmmmmm, I thought the residents were more important... As you delve deeper into the complex, you'll see it's true colors.
SAFETY: Surprisingly enough, the place is pretty safe; I mean, sure, it's had its break-ins, and stolen cars...or maybe I havent been here long enough.....
There is a lot more, but I'm tired of writing, and must get back to work. Overall, since they lowered the rent prices, they've only attracted the wrong type of residents. Which, in essence, makes the value of living there extremely low. If you want anything done....talk to Donna.
