My grandma moved hear when it was owned by different cheaper people meaning the
rent wasn't sky high. When it was bought they raised the rent and got rid off the guards.
It has been remodeled nicely but we recently had a fire and they put everyone at a recreation
center and tried to put my 80 year old grandma that has polio on a cott two feet off the
floor. My mom and my other grandmother raised heck about it and got everyone to stay
at the embassy suites in Dallas for free until everything was fixed. In my opinion I would
not live here. Office people are the worst. Yes they have cameras but no real protection.

Yes there was recently a fire and a few residents spent one night at the shelter. After that the owners made arrangements for residents to stay at the Embassy. It had nothing to do with your "mom and other grandmother raising heck". The owners paid for residents to stay in the hotel until the fire marshall released the property and residents could come home. The new owners did not raise rents, the old owner had started raising rents before selling.

That is not true. They had no obligation to put people up. That is why they made us all get renters insurance. When a disaster happens they can't just go make A class accomodations for everyone. It sounds like this place is not a fit for your or your grandma if that is what you are looking for. Oh and the rent is barely $1.00 a square foot. If that is what you call sky high then you obviously haven't rented an apartment in downtown dallas before, that is a steal.
