...and I'd like to back up most of the statements I made previously.
Yeah, there are a few problems. What did you think you were gonna get in this part of town' The Wildflower management staff cannot be here at 3 o'clock in the morning to keep the crazy -------s outside from killing you. Prevention is the best medicine, as far as that is concerned. And Crime Strike does a good job of keeping the riff-raff out. Kudos to the Wildflower for hiring them last year. They have assisted me once and responded within minutes. Compared to the complexes AROUND THE WILDFLOWER, we are living in Heaven. And where are you going to find comparatively priced living for the same amount of space in Dallas' Nowhere, that's where.
That said, there are lots of things the Wildflower could do to improve. I do not have a roach problem, but my neighbor in the next building does. And yes, the ants can be problematic and annoying, but I've found that as long as I keep my dishes washed and take my trash out often, I don't see them.
Also, I DO NOT like the fact that there is no safe place for children to play. It is too dangerous for them to just wander the premises, as most of the children in the buildings around mine are wont to do. It will also keep them out of the parking lot, where they are in danger of speeding vehicles. I'm glad that HeartHouse is here now, giving some of the children a place to go after school, but something else needs to be done.
Other than that, I'm pretty happy. I have lived here for nearly two and a half years, and the Wildflower has remained my most affordable option, even though it means driving 30 minutes to work. I don't deal with the management staff very often, but when I have they have been accommodating and amiable. And the maintenance staff is fantastic. Very, very nice people.
