I lived at The Wildflower for 5 years. Management was good, maintenance was great for 4 and a half years. The last 6 months were a disaster. I went 2 and a half months without hot water. I called and always got the runaround. Management lied to me repeatedly. Did I mention that one time one of the ladies told me "i don't know what you want me to do, just boil some water." Another one told me "things happen, just get over it." All the while, I'm paying the complex for water and rent. After it was fixed, I asked the manager if she was planning to refund or take anything off the rent for those involved (it was several units) and she said there was no way she couldn't do that. I asked to be let out of my lease, she said no to that also. A few months pass, my electricity goes out. They'd gotten my apartment confused with another tenet who hadn't paid his rent and cut off my electricity. After harrassing me at my door, they realized they'd made a mistake. Again, no form of compensation was suggested. Labor Day I returned home to this horrible smell in my apartment. A mildew smell was coming out of my a/c vents. I called maintenance over and over. They didn't have a clue what was going on and no one was in a hurry to fix it. I got very sick with headaches and nausea. The ladies in the front office didn't care. I was told that the crew (which i discovered entered my bedroom while i was gone) would have to wait until the corporate office ok'd the bill for the necessary work. No one knew how long it would be. I asked to move to another apartment or be put up in a hotel. I was told no. I couldn't take it anymore. I bitched. The maintenance man was sent out again with an air filter. I told him I was not staying in an apartment with horrible, sickening fumes pouring in. He went back to the front office and magically, they called me back saying they found the problem. I asked what it was, but the lady said she couldn't tell me. She'd only say it involved my upstairs neighbors. This is the worst apartment I've ever lived in. It went downhill after the two good maintenance guys (Ray and Dragan) left and Zori Cronin became the manager. I wouldn't wish this complex on my worst enemy.

You have some legal rights here! That's terrible! I've lived here years ago and it was good; really sorry to hear it has gone so down hill. Let me know where you move to since I'm moving back and need a good, affordable place to stay!
