I left for work on Friday morning and noticed a camera crew on the grounds. I laughed to myself because I thought it was the management trying to promote the grounds. I failed to see the police caution tape on the balcony behind them. When I got home from work later there were about 4 more camera crews. I was SO curious at this time. I went to my apartment and on the door was not only one but TWO "Notices of criminal activity on the property". On Wednesday one apartment was broken into between 10:00 in the am and 7:00 in the evening! Then the second was reporting the armed invasion where one woman was beaten and another shot. Today I called the apartments to see what kind of extra security measures they were going to take and I was told that NOTHING was going to be done. She said that it was a liability for the apartments to have a Patrol officer at night. So I asked if they would rather have their apartments broken into and residents beaten and shot and she just repeated that they would NEVER have a patrol there! gkZ41df9CgXQPfm8K2A7

Well, I'm looking for an apartment and had considered the Wimberly, even though I was not sure if the neighborhood was very safe.
The number of bad reviews of this complex has helped me make my decision. Glad I dodged this bullet, unlike former residents of Wimberly.
