Risk of getting shot is high

Me my boyfriend lived in this apt complex. There was not a day that went by that i di dnot call the police nor security. Stairs were always filled with drug dealers and buys and hookers. I would have to squueze by them to walk down my stairs because i got tired of bitching at them. They started giving me weird looks like i was next to get shot. don't bother calling the police they won't show up!
My car was broken into 3 times...i only stayed there 6 months. The light fixures on the buildings were broken so you could break into cars without anybody seeing you.
The apt behind me got their door kicked in and shot out by drug dealers @ 4:30am , a stray bullet could have easily gone through our mutual wall and killed me or my son.
The other apartment next to me, facing the street, had stray bullets from a drive by shooting went through their window almost hit one of the residents on a Sunday afternoon. The office did not fix their window for months.

Apartment across from mine had their door kicked in by SWAT because of a possible kidnapping, I had to call the city to get anything fixed in the apartment complex.
the apt below me would get flooded everytime i ran my dishwasher.

There was also a man that starting randomly shooting off his AK-47 through his door when his car was being repossessed, SWAT once again had to come.
I heard there was a body found of a 17 yr old girl that was raped behind the office.

If you're looking to buy crack just open the door, they will be ready to serve you at your door. i called the police numerous times about guys selling drugs in front of the apt in day light and there would be no outcome whatsoever.
An old friend advised me to never take the trash out because she almost got dragged into the trash can by someone waiting in there to drag her in. She said they had told her the same thing when she moved in and she didn't believe it until it happened to her.
One or two of the buildings have already been burnt down, you can still see one of the black empty buildings still there. The electrical wiring is all off and don't stand on the balconies because they will probably fall and you with it.
Shootings happened everyday and night, no exageration at all! You just got used to it after a while.
I honestly did get used to it... it was cheap and i started getting used to my neighbors. Management could really make a change if they really tried. If it was just me I probably would've stayed to save a bit more cash but my little one's life...you never think it can happen to you or your child but you hear of stray bullets killing innocent chidlren all the time. Saving about a hundred bucks a month or less is not worth risking your life over.
I should've enjoyed Christmas a little more, everyday at work i wondered if someone would come by and steal all of my kids presents or even worse come back and the building would be burnt down!
