Deer Glen Apartments

 
These apartments are very quiet except if you work evenings or nights, you have small children or if you just want to sleep late. On Monday (even holiday Mondays) the yard maintenance crew come at 8am and wake you up with all their machines. This goes on till noon. Then every day after that the maintenance man with the Deer Glen uses the leaf blower from 8 am to noon. There are no leaves so I don't know why that needs to be done everyday. On Friday the maintenance man was cleaning the sidewalks (of stains I guess?) and you heard the machine all weekend and even on Sunday evening. Then there is the stadium behind the apts that has school football games from Sept to Oct that is noisy from 8 pm till 10 pm. They have recently built a school nearby and the machines caused lots of noise (the constant beeping when machines backed up). They would start working at 7:30 am every morning. The noise wasn't this bad when I moved here 3 yrs ago. Other than that this complex is very safe. I choose to be safe, I guess, and forfeit the sleep.
