Looks aren't everything

Ok, so I still live here, but if it weren't for my parents, I'd have move out after the first month. This place looks great. It has a gate, a pool, nice paint. What they dont tell you is that the gate is broken all the time, the pool smells like beer, and that the foundation is so horrible, anytime you close one door, another opens in the apartment. Not to mention that they do nothing, and I mean, nothing about noise violations. One person had a dog that they kept on the balcony all day and all night and it barked all the time. I called them numerous times to have them take care of it, as I am NOT going to a complete stranger's apartment to ask them to do something. Well, they never did and it wasnt until I called the cops at 4am on a Tuesday night, did anything get taken care of.
The thing that was the big seller for this place was the seperate leases. You and your roommate each have your own, so if something happens and they have to move out, you dont get screwed on having to pay. You only get the utilities. Thats what sold my parents on the place.
But the office. Dont even get me started. Bottom line: they are children. They wouldnt give me a mail key for three weeks, they lost my payments four months in a row and refused to beleive that it was their fault, even though we had it set up to be debited from my account. They also tried to have me evicted three times! Oh and they changed the rent amount on us the day we moved in, which I found out later, is illegal.
If you want a nice apartment and are willing to pay, go somewhere else. This place may look nice, but the Arbors just dont have it together, which is pretty sad since theyve been here for seven years.
