I have lived at the Arbors about 18 months and I cannot wait to get out of here. I've considered breaking my lease just to do so.
First off, the management. They are all super young and act with the mentality of sixteen years olds. If you have any problems or complaints, they say they'll take care of it immediately but never actually do. They sit around in the office all day doing nothing but talking on the cell phones. I've had several packages that I thought we're lost in the mail that actually were on the floor of the office for months that they never bothered to tell me about. The girls are clearly trying to appeal to college kids, with beer nights, pool parties that are byob, and never caring about endlessly loud parties every night of the week.
Which brings me to the 21 year old residents that are on their own for the first time. Several kids around me have parties several nights a week that begin at 9pm and don't end until 5am. My walls literally shake they are so loud. The music usually plays at an obnoxious level and I can usually make out conversations because the walls are so thin. I swear a herd of elephants lives above me. The next morning there are beer cans, cigarette butts, and trash all over the lawn. No matter how many times you complain to staff they don't do anything about it. Several residents around me have dogs that they let poop all over the place, even on the sidewalk.
Security is a joke. There is no security guard and no one to call except 911 if you have an emergency. The "security gates" never work and on the rare occassion that they do, cars pile up outside waiting for a resident to let them in. Anyone can get it.
Parking is a mess!! Visitors cannot park inside the gates or they get towed. My friends hate coming over because they have to park outside the gates and make the long walk in.
The apartment itself is pretty nice, but not worth the price (which continually goes up despite a contract).
The only nice thing at the Arbors is the new young maintenance man. He works incredibly hard and is very friendly. The grounds are pretty but they over water and residents pay the bill. My water bill last month was $38.
If you're looking for a place that will let you party til you puke, then come on in. If you want a home that is not surrounded by loud, obnoxious college kids with an incredibly rude staff, then STAY AWAY!! k6tKKzmJrmATU2ap682S

I've had the same thing with packages happen to me...I had no idea where my box was and it was in the office for over 14 days. The girls at the front desk loose checks, never tell you what the correct amount due is and all the parties they plan are bring your own beer and or they are at local bars...but love the apartment itself...and maintwnacne men are super nice and do work very hard.
