there was a water leak in the apartment above mine which lad to black mold!!! Then the management got money from their insurance, the girls above us, and tried to get 4000.00 from my roommates and i. it was horrible!!! These people are horrible people and would not recomend these apartments!!!!

The management team at the Arbors needs to take a few lessons on customer service. They are supposed to be here for us, not the other way around. They are rude and treat you like you are in elementary school. Since most are college students they try to take advantage of you in any way possible. Seriously. The apartments are nice, the grounds are safe and mostly kept (except nobody picks up after their pets), but its not worth dealing with the terrible staff. If you have a maintainance issue you better make it sound urgent or it will take a while. The parking is the worst issue after the staff. They need to take away covered parking completely. And if you get home late, you might as well park on the street because there's not enough spots. It pisses me off that I have to park on the street outside MY OWN apartments! Overall, not a good place to live. And whats the point of having a gate if it is never closed? Maybe its broken, hmm guess thats another maintainance issue they just havent got around to yet. If you do not heed all of the warnings posted here about this sad excuse for an apartment complex, than I suggest taking note of every scratch, stain, loose handle... etc right when you move in or they will try and charge you for it in someway. That's what they do. Manipulate you and cheat you out of money, all with a sarcastic smile on their faces. DONT LIVE HERE!

although, i agree that the leasing staff is young and sometimes rude, i don't think that i was charged for anything that i was ever cheated out of money! i found it just the opposite! i expected to pay a lot when i moved out because i had a pet but i was only charged for my last water bill, a carpet clean and some blinds that my pet chewed up. at my last apartment they charged me for EVERYTHING-drip pans, showerrod, scratches on the wall, cleaning, even though i cleaned-I mean EVERYTHING. i thought the arbors was very fair in the move out charges nd didn't try to nickel and dime me! i did hate the parking issue, but that is at every complex around campus!!!
