Let's face it, you get what you pay for. And while the outside looks nice, it really depends on how well of a job they clean the apartment before you move in. When I moved in, there was mold in the kitchen, ugly wallpaper left from the previous owner, and I had to vacuum three times. No pantry. No light in the bedroom closet. While the neighborhood is pretty quiet itself, you are often awakened by the train-- the tracks are located right behind the complex. So yeah, that was always fun. This place would be so much better if they had PROFESSIONAL MANAGEMENT. There is an on-site manager, but you can barely get a hold of him-- he doesn't pick up the phone, and the only way you can get to him is to text him a million times. He does all the maintenance and work himself, which is probably why the apartments are in not as good a shape. They need to hire professionals to clean the apartments, because when I moved in this place was down right nasty. Well, let me get off my soapbox. Here are all the pros... This place is a money saver... Rent is cheap, although I believe it has gone up to $650. Small washer and dryer in every unit, free water & cable, and in walking distance to TWU. There you have it, go visit the apartments before you think about moving in. Oh, and try to do a run-through of the apartment about a week before you move in. Make sure everything works, and there's no mold anywhere.
