My bigest complaint was that the maintenance
crew when I first moved here (July 2001) was nonexistent. There was this guy who was supposedly a maintenance man who on the very first day walked into my apartment without any notification when I was not there. He was very gruff and rude. I too had difficulty with getting a work order placed (three times before they reponded)-I had a lot of black mold on my bathroom tiling and they did not do a very good job in eradicating it. Since then the Management has changed hands and is MUCH more friendlier and responsive-I experienced however the same runaround with renewing my lease-they promised me 1 mos free rent discount and then changed to half month when it came to signing.
The grounds are beautiful(lots of trees and varied terrain) and the place is pet friendly(should be with a 400 dollar deposit)The pool constantly leaked badly in the summer-I never used it so it was of no concern to me. The exercise room was neat but limited-Quiet place and people youngish (college) but friendly. I have no real complaints for the rent I paid-I have lived in WAY worse apartments. This one was ok not great, but ok.
