At first, I didn't really like this place. I'm chalking that up to the change in management. The day I was supposed to move in, they werent ready for me. When I finally moved in, they still had some wood piles on the living room floor and an ugly ass stain on the carpet. I filled out the checklist so they could clean that up. THey said they would get to it right away. Didnt happen. They threatened to evict me 3 days after the first month's rent was due, because they said that I didnt pay. Well, I did. Turns out that they had my check, but no apologies or nothing. THen they told me i didnt pay the water. I did. Turns out they messed up. No apologies. Maintenance was really slow at first. It took at least three calls to get anything done. My electricity bill was extremely high, for a 1bed 1bath 565 sq ft apt, it was freakin' $200!!! Unbelievable. My parents live in a 4 bedroom house, two stories, and have a AC unit for each floor and blast that ---- nonstop and they only pay 250. What the hell. Anyway, a year later, its alot better. THe pools are open. Management is not so rude now. Granted, I try to stay away from the office as much as possible. For the most part they leave me alone. THey have raised the rents and changed the lease terms available. Instead of giving one year leases, they only offer semester leases. WHen i asked them why they changed, they told me they have always done that. Weird considering I had a one year lease before. Crazies. Anyway, I wish management were not clueless, a-holes. But whachagonnado'
