The Manager is a snake. The treat you like your family and then when it comes to money they treat you like a criminal.
My a/c didn't work at all the summer of '08 and they kept telling me to put foil up in my windows to block the sun. I told them it was their responsibily to provide me with proper A/C.
One day I get a notice on my door stating"we found a cigarette butt outside your apartment on the first floor(the floor below me)and if the found another one they would charge me $100 dollar fine" What! I don't even smoke!!!
Their lawn service comes like every other day from 4pm till 9pm which ensures you never get a evening of piece. To watch tv I had to turn the volume up almost to max 'cause the walls are so thin and the leave blower was so dang loud.
One month I was about to pay rent, so I tranferred 700 bucks to my checking the day before and gave them a check on the 1st, the try and cash it when the funds hadn't gone through, the check bounced, and then they didn't tell me about it till the 20th! So 50 bucks a day till the 20th equals....you got it thousand bucks, and I couldn't just write them a check for a thousand dollars, no they treat me like a bum, I have to get a money order.
Never ever rent from them, they will never give you a moments peace.

I totally agree. After a similar situation happened to me, I know they are that way about not telling you when your funds don't clear. I think it is intentional. I was very unhappy with that as well.
