Overall, a good place

Years at this apartment: 2003 - 2004
I am on month 10 of a 12 month lease, so I can give a pretty accurate review.
Good stuff:
-The staff is really nice, and if you have some problem they fix it quickly. Our garbage disposal stopped working, and no more than a day after we called the front office they sent a couple of guys out, who fixed it (all it had to have was some reset button pressed...heh).
-If you're worried about your car, don't worry, because the main parking area is gated.
-The apartments themselves are very new (I think they were built in 2000), so everything is very nice looking and clean. The grounds are also well-kept.
-It's only about 5-10 minutes from the new shopping complex on 288, and the same distance to University St., and about 10-15 minutes from UNT, which means you're not far from anything really.
Bad Stuff:
-Either the people living under us (we're on second floor) are completely anal, or the floors have something wrong with them, but we're constantly getting noise complaints despite the fact that we don't throw any parties or slam things on the ground or anything. One time we were sitting there talking somewhere between regular volume and whispering, and the guy bangs his ceiling! We don't play loud music or anything either.
-I think the regular rent for a 3 bedroom is $1165, which I think is kind of expensive compared to a lot of places. This didn't affect me as much because I had 3 roommates so we were almost splitting it 4 ways, and we also got some deals because we moved in at a slow time of the year.
