FYI: Hassan from #30 is a good guy, messy a bit, but nice.
Well, if you are cheap and if you are not afraid to be stabbed or shot in the ghetto neighborhood, move to the NORTH wing of the apartments. There are two parts separated by the breath way in the long, train-like building. From the outside both look the same. The old South part with roaches and really bad smells. It was it is 35 years old and never been repaired. Also there is the North wing, which was totally refurbished (I mean everything but the framing) after a fire in 2005. Not bad for $500/mo with ALL BILLS PAID :) Also, you even don't have to lock your door, nobody will break in or steal your stuff, just be nice to --------- who live in the building, most of them have shotguns.

You may be the trusting sort, but I definitely wouldn't recommend leaving your doors unlocked around here. Several people in the building have had their cars vandalized/broken into or have had their things stolen out of the laundry room. There is also a lot of crime (drug activity, prostitution, etc.) in the area.
