I SEE FREE RENT POSTED!!! LOL TO ANYONE WHO FALLS FOR THIS!!! THEY ARE CROOKS, WILL TELL YOU THAT YOU ARE CRAZY, THAT YOU ARE THE ONLY ONE WHO'S HAVING THAT PROBLEM. I WAS FORCED TO STAY MY WHOLE YEAR, WHAT MISERY!!! WASHER/DRYERS ARE ALWAYS BROKEN BUT TAKES FOREVER FOR THEM TO BE REPAIRED, THERE IS ALWAYS BACK UPS. IT TOOK THE OFFICE 75 DAYS TO RETURN MY DEPOSIT. THEN THEY MADE SOME BULLSH$T CLEANING CHARGES TO GET ME WITH SOMETHING. WE CLEANED EVERYTHING...... EXCEPT FOR THE CARPET. SHE STILL GOT US FOR OTHER STUFF TO MAKE MONEY, AND LEFT OFF WHAT LITTLE STUFF WE WERE SUPPOSED TO BE CHARGED FOR IF THIS HAD BEEN AN HONEST BILL. TALK TO ANYONE OF THEIR CURRENT TENANTS HOW "HAPPY" THEY ARE LIVING THERE. AND ASK THEM ABOUT THE OFFICE KIRSTEN!!! THEY WILL ALL HAVE COMMON STORIES... "SHE'S MEAN TO EVERYONE" GOOD LUCK TO ALL THE FUTURE SUCKERS..... REMEMBER 'YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR'. KIRSTEN IF YOUR READING THIS, GO AHEAD AND PUT YOUR BULLS$%T COMMENTS IN RESPONSE TO THIS TRUTH. 3/08 I'm a little slow in responding to your comments and i would love to respond to your accusations but since you choose to be anonymous that will not be possible. You have a problem with putting your name on stuff but you didn't mind putting my name all over it. I have been the manager for three years when I receive a complaint on the laundry room I contact the company who is contractd to fix it but these complaints are rare. If I am not aware of a problem I can not fix. Secondly the one month free rent offer I have had several tenants have currently qualify for. Thirdly since I have been the manager here my monthly tenant retention is over 75% and I stay at about 95% occupied. Forth as for the deposit refund check this is dispursed my the owner and I have no control over.

kirsten is a crappy manager! she is rude and impatient. i used to live at la prairie for a year. it was the worst experience i have ever had with an apartment complex. i avoided going to the front office at all costs because i did not want to have to put up with kirsten's attitude. she was even extremely rude to my guests. she is somewhat friendly when you go to check out the apartments, but the second you sign the lease, the REAL kirsten comes out. i had a rat, fleas, and ticks, and management never wanted to take responsibility for ANYthing until i called my lawyer. my safety was threatened on three different occasions from random strangers wandering around. and i often heard people fighting and witnessed a break-in. maintenance never left any notification of being in my apartment if they ever came to fix things. i would just have to guess or noticed something changed. the price of the rent is awesome, but you definitely get what you pay for! and i did not get a dime back from my deposit. i cleaned that apartment from top to bottom and they still found bogus charges. i would not lie about any of this. only move here if this is your last resort.
