I’ve lived here for a year in a 1/1 and never had a lot of problems, only minor inconveniences. The apartment is fairly large, I’ve never been robbed or felt unsafe, it’s a pretty good place for the money even though it’s a bit dated. I wouldn’t be moving except for a job change and a need for a bigger place.
Cons:
The kitchen is very small. If you enjoy cooking, this could be problematic unless you install some shelving or store your appliances on top of the fridge (that’s what I did).
The washers and driers in the laundry room don’t always work, but there’re plenty of them and I’ve never had to wait for a machine.
When I first got my keys, the a/c was broken and there were fleas. Called the management office and they were out bombing the next day and provided me with a window unit until my central a/c could be repaired (took about 5 days).
Thin walls: I can hear when people talk in the breezeway, but not next door or downstairs.
The kitchen appliances are outdated. The dishwasher sucks and the sinks are small.
The grounds aren’t exactly the most beautiful in the world, but they’re well-kempt, not shabby.
Pros:
Free extended cable!! Awesome for broke college kids.
You can choose your internet provider between charter and Verizon Fios. Pick the Fios, it rocks.
Maintenance is very prompt. They’re usually there the same day or next day.
Manager has always been very polite to me, remembers me when I come in, which is very little.
Electric is all I pay and it’s never run above around $80 in the height of summer, and was once as low as $25, keeping about 78 in the summer, 65 in the winter, and the windows open as much as the weather permits.
Pet friendly. Seems like everyone here has a dog or cat, which could be a con to some people, but I’ve never heard dogs barking around here.
Every few months, they come in to change filters and lay down poison gel bait in the cabinet hinges of the kitchen and bathrooms as preventative pest control. I’ve never even seen a spider or ant, maybe one or two silverfish in the tub the last year.
Parking lot is small, but I've never has issues finding a spot within a few feet of my building. They tow frequently for vehicles without parking passes unless they park in a marked area at the back of the lot with about 15 spaces. I've never seen it even half-filled.

You're mistaken. I wrote this, and I've never been employed here. Perhaps she meant a different review?
