I was excited to find a 2 story apt. for only $500 a month even though it wasn't in the greatest condition. The cabinets in the kitchen had such bad water damage that every time I opened them it made a mess of saw dust and wood chips on the floor. When I asked for them to be fixed I was told that it would cost to much money, but at least the owner was nice about it.After living there about 6 months the owner hired his nephew to run the place.Huge mistake! That winter my heater stopped working. I called and told the new manager he said he would have someone come out the next day... Nothing...I waited, and called 2 days later when I was told I had to put in the request by writing.I did so and waited an additional 2 days.Still nothing. Finally after going to the office and making the request personally every day for a week the manager (who i know is NOT an electrician) came to "fix" the heater. From that point on my heater would not turn off and sparks and smoke were coming out of my breaker box. I called and asked to speak to the manager at which point I heard him ask the girl who answered the phone "who is it" then I was told he was not in and would call me back. Which he never did. My dad had to hire someone to come out and fix it. I submitted the bill to the manager and was never reimbursed. That spring the new manager decided he wanted to change the color of the front door(like the money couldn't have gone to something better'') So he hire's a crew to do it(but doesn't do any kind of a background check)Plus he failed to tell ANY of the tennents that work was being done and our doors were going to be removed and NO ONE would be supervisng these workers in our aptments. When I returned home from class that day my door was on the ground and no one was to be found. I go into my apt. to find a broken lamp, a broken door decoration, and a VERY expensive faux fur floor length coat from Nordstroms matted from the sheet rock and rain laying on my couch. Scared, confused, and outraged I ran to the office to see what was going on. I was told that the "crew" was on a lunch break and would put my door on when they returned and they would reimburse me for the broken items. When I asked why I was not notified that someone was going to be in my apt. I was told that they didn't have time to put out notices.Come to find out the "crew" was uninsured so the manager said that since he failed to do a background check he would pay for the damages. Which i'm sure you can guess never happened. I could go on and on about the managment at this place, but hopefully you've heard enough.Oh yeah be extra careful if you are a female because the management will come into your LOCKED apt. if you don't answer the door.

I was just curious if you ever paid your rent on time or were you evicted from this place? Seems like a lot of negative reviews on this site are from people who never paid rent on time or got evicted.
