The mgmt is definitely very rude and they will not hesitate to lie. Beware, they may manipulate and add stipulations to the original lease even after you have signed it. They apparently think if you take them to court you have little chance since they retain what they call the "original" lease. They are out to take advantage of the uninformed youth and they believe they can get away with it. If you want to do business with these people, do your research and protect yourself. They manage several properties around Denton so be careful.

You sound like a sore renter. Did you not get your deposit back? What did you mean they lie? What did they do to you? Or did you not read your lease contract before you sign? Did you just not feel like honoring the terms of the contract that you signed when you moved out and feel they shouldn't charge you a thing when you moved out for damages you had caused? You didn't get a copy of the your lease? Why not? You didn't care to read it since you didn't care to honor it in the first place?

Dude, you sound like someone who failed to read their lease contract and failed to live up to the terms and is complaining about it afterwards by blaming others (the landlord/management) for your own fault. Why didn't you read the entire lease contract before you signed it? Too lazy? If you didn't like the terms, you should have rented somewhere else. I've rented from these people 2 times (2 different locations) and never had a problem. And yes, I got my deposit back without any problems.

I am the original poster. At the time of the original post, I compared my copy of the contract to their 'original' copy. IT WAS NOT THE SAME. I don't care about the money. It's the integrity I'm concerned about.
