As a student at TWU, I needed a place close to campus since I don't have a car. All the places around TWU were way out of my budget and required rental and credit history. As an international student, I didn't have these things and no one were willing to work with me except Oaklawn Gardens. I was hesitant to move here at first due to the one review here but I had little choice, but I was wrong. Things have really changed this past year. The new management is great!!! They have really turned things around here. There are people picking up trash around the complex every morning and they have kicked out the bad tenants that were here. They have also performed a lot of improvements around here and are continuing to do more. Things are really nice and quiet now and the rent prices are really good!
