The apartments are great in that they are huge and they are cheap, BUT you have to sacrifice your sanity and safety to live here. I have lived here for almost a year and I can't wait to get out of here.
I have put in 9 work orders for my dryer since I moved in and they have yet to fix it. The maintenence people just walk around all day and drive their golf carts. I also asked for my light switch covers to be changed (they are supposed to be changed before you move in) because they had black stuff and mold on them. It's been 7 months and they haven't fixed them. They are quick to get you if you are late on rent (which I have never been- they don't keep track of checks and they deposit them and then try to get more money out of you.) but they don't do their job.
They have switched management companies once since I've been here, but I hear they do that pretty often.
The trash is DISGUSTING. They have one tiny dumpter and one compactor for the entire complex, there is always trash every where.
If you need Section 8 housing then this is the place for you. There are a lot of people here on Sectino 8 as well as hurricane victims.
A lot of people sit outside ALL day long and play music loudly. People even set up tables in the middle of the parking lot and have BBQ so you can't drive any where.
Kids run all over the place, I never see their parents so be careful because they tend to jump out right in front of your car.
There are drug dealers all over the complex and people have had things stolen and their cars broken into.
The lighting is AWFUL outside and the fans don't come with lights attached to them. I had to go out and buy my own.
I wouldn't live here, especially if you live alone or have kids.
I can't wait to get out of here and if I could break my lease I would in a heartbeat
