I live in Sycamore Square apartments, which Place to Be bought earlier this year. I never had a problem with the previous management.

After Place to Be took over, the complex would often go months without getting mowed. Grass and weeds were so thick we could not walk our dog.

Then, they started towing cars out of the parking lot that didn't have Place to Be stickers on them. Of course, they didn't notify the people already living there that this was going to happen.

Also, they completely disregard the lease that you have signed with Sycamore Square and refuse to even discuss its terms.

Then, roofers came to work for about a month and left several pallets of roof tiles taking up about 6 parking spaces in the already cramped lot. The pallets remained for at least three months, despite dozens of calls to the office to have them removed. It was so nice to pull back the curtains in the morning to see weeds two feet high and pallets of roofing tiles right outside the window.

I fear that when our lease runs out they will jack up the price of our rent, in which case I will move out.

They certainly haven't met my expectations.
