Most terrible renting experience ever.

Let me just say, that I am not the kind of person who ever had problems with apartment complexes. I've rented many places, and I've been fine with all of them except Place to Be. First of all, they allow their maintanence people to go into your apartment whenever they want for no reason, without notifying you first. I can't tell you how many times I came home to find things moved around and drawers obviously rummaged through. I even came home a few times to find them walking around in my apartment. When I inquired as to why they were there, they could give me no reason. I also had an expensive camera go missing that I believe they stole. When I called the management office about it, they said that don't HAVE to notify me before entering, it's just a courtesy they don't bother offering. They also rudely accused me of lying about the camera and did nothing about it.
I lived in a two-story townhouse and the air conditioner was located in the upstairs bathroom. It started leaking so bad that my bathroom floor was constantly flooded, even with pots and pans covering the floor to catch the water. This went on for TWO WEEKS, with me calling them about it every day. They almost never pick up their maintenance line, so I left message after message that went unanswered. When I called the main office about it, they wouldn't listen and would just transfer me to the maintenance answering machine. Finally someone came out, but he didn't even fix it! It started leaking again the next day, and it took TWO MORE WEEKS for someone to show up and actually fix it! For a whole month my bathroom floor was a lake. There was significant water damage.
Then, the shower upstairs starting leaking through the ceiling downstairs! It got to the point where every time I took a shower, I would come downstairs to find the carpet in my dining room all wet. This kept happening until the the water pressure caused a hole in my ceiling. For almost half the time I lived there, there was a big gaping hole in my dining room ceiling that was leaking water that they did nothing about.
My next door neightbor had a hole in his floor under the carpet, so that whenever it rained his whole downstairs flooded. They never did anything about it when I was there.
Also, there is a no pet policy, but I assumed that didn't apply to a tiny beta fish being kept in a half-gallon bowl of water. It's a small fish, it can't exactly tear up the apartment. Well, the maintenance people snuck into my apartment (again!) and actually TOOK PICTURES of the fish. The office sent them to me with a note saying they were charging me $200 for having a fish in the apartment. I ended up having to pay it because they said it I didn't they would deduct it from my rent check, and then evict me and ruin my credit for not paying rent.
They also refuse to walk-throughs with you when you move out. They charged me money for cleaning the apartment that I left spotlessly clean.
The people in the office were always rude and unhelpful. I got the feeling that they had so many tenants from their so many complexes they had time for no one. They are always out to get as much money as possible from you.
Please, don't rent from them and go through this nightmare also!
