Politely speaking, this place SUCKS! When I first moved in, the place was great. But as time went on, things just got worse and worse. I had a friend who lived here and was bit by a scorpion while sleeping, and also found 6 other scorpions in his apartment(also has 2 small kids), and the staff wouldn't even call out an exterminator until a week later. He gave them 30 days notice after he got bit, and they are trying to charge him 1 months rent for not giving 60 days and won't give him his deposit back! Ants and bugs everywhere in my apartment. You ask the office staff for anything, and they won't help. Jo and Linda are the worst office staff ladies I've ever rented from. The only good people at this place are the maintenance guys. If you can ever get the office ladies off of their fat arses to call the maintenace man, they do do a good job and are friendly. I'll be moving real soon. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!

I've lived here since the complex opened in the spring of 2004. Here is what I have to say about the bugs. FYI: This entire area used to be nothing but woods! We invaded their territory, not the other way around. As for the exterminators, every two weeks the exterminator is here spraying the exterior of the buildings, and if you need the interior sprayed, all you have to do is let the office staff know. On the subject of the office staff, Jo and Linda are two of the very best people that I have ever had to deal with regarding our apartment. Not only are they extremely courtious, they know my husband and I by name. I live in a relatively quiet building and don't have any problems with any of my neighbors. Yes, visitor parkingc an be a nightmare, but that's true everywhere. Resident parking is more than adequate. There is one draw back to the apartments, the location. With all the construction on 288, traffic can really back up, but Wal-Mart, Target, and Home Depot are all within walking distance. Give this place a chance. The apartments are beautiful, large, and well worth the price. P.S. I LOVE the built in book shelf in our apartment!

I have seen 7 scorpions in my apt since moving in in 2005. My husband has been bit 3 times, thank goodness they get him first and not me! If they ever bit my son, it would be so on. Jo and Linda and I had an altercation about parking when we first moved in, but they both know my husband and I by first name now and everything seems to be fine, other then the fear of any new development and scorpions from the north side of the complex.

I have been her nearly four years. You do tend to see scorpions when it starts getting warmer. I asked to have my apt sprayed b/c I have 2 small children. I was told I would basically have to pack like I was moving and wasn't allowed to put anything on the patio. When I asked where they expected me to put my belongings they said they didn't know. Their attitude was very unsympathetic. They just didn't want to spray b/c it cost something like $100/ apt. ( I believe that's the price they told me). I was told that a scorpion was just like an ant and it wasn't that big of a deal. I would rather have my kids bitten by an ant over a scorpion anyday.

how awful that the office staff doesnt care about scorpions! HELLO...thats a big deal. i guess their lack of concern is a reflection of how many complaints they get on a regular basis. what a shame...these apartments are so pretty
