I lived in a 4BR/2bath unit with 3 roommates. I can't really say I had any major problems other than the hassle of applying (subsidized rent=TONS of paperwork and income verification). Plus it's just RIDICULOUS the rent that we were paying--$800 plus electricity/internet/TV split between 4 people, which meant like $250-260 a month for private rooms in a 2 year old apartment.

I didn't have any problems with the staff other than them often getting onto us about stuff sitting on our balcony, which I can't really argue about since we DID sign an agreement saying that we can't have stuff on the balcony.

Positive: CHEAP rent; quick service when a part in our water heater needed to be replaced and another time when the Disposall unit stopped working; within walking/biking distance of multiple city bus routes, including to/from UNT; 1-2 blocks from a ton of stores (Wal-Mart, Home Depot, Best Buy, restaurants...) and I-35

Negative: involved application process; forced to use their semi-crappy distributed satellite TV (no HDTV satellite service, and Comcast doesn't have cable service out that far, or at least they didn't when I lived there) g-hKOS7s4Nq5n3hEIpHd

I agree, this resident must have chosen not to use FIOS. We've have FIOS since it was available back in '06 and LOVE it! Forget Priority Systems and DirectTV (which we had in the beginning and was a total rip!) BTW... I am not a leasing agent, I'm just truthful and sometime the truth hurts.
