Let's just say that looks are deceiving. If you go on looks alone they are nice. But past that, if you want to live with noise, ants, and no water pressure, feel free to live here. The apartments are so poorly constructed that you can hear EVERYTHING that your upstairs neighbors do. Even when they pull a drawer out you can hear the rollers on the drawer. When they flush the toilet it sounds like your ceiling is about to flood. Combine that with neighbors with lousy attitudes that don't care about trying to be considerate of the noise they make and it makes for the worst living conditions ever. And after more than 10 complaints to the office (they tell you 3 are grounds for eviction....yeah right) and more than a handful of calls to the police, nothing ever gets resolved. NOTHING! In fact the neighbors get worse the more we complain. The water pressure is lousy and when you take a shower it's hard to even get the soap off completely. They have a huge problem with ants and you can't even leave anything on the counter. We bought donuts for breakfast and they were in the box maybe two hours sitting on the counter and ants were swarming them. As I sit her typing, the neighbors are making the worst amounts of noise to the point where the items on my walls are vibrating and so are the light fixtures, but yet I know nothing will be done if I call. Absolutely worst move I ever made by deciding to live here. It's terrible when you can't even live in peace and you try to make things better and no one cares. I really, honest to God, hope you take this into consideration and decide to live elsewhere. Otherwise, kiss your peace of mind goodbye.

I have lived her for 2 1/2 years and love it. We have never had a bug problem but if we did the exterminator comes once a month. While some of my neighbors do tend to get loud the issue is usually resolved either by me or the security office. I think this is one of the best places to live for the money in Denton. Perhaps your expectations of apartment living are too high.
