great for UNT students

I lived at an efficiency at Ramsgate while doing my master's degree at UNT, and I was very happy overall.
The apartment itself is pretty spacious and clean, in good condition.
The location is great, right near I-35 and campus.
The office staff are friendly and supportive, and the maintenance staff are prompt.
The only complaints I had were not perhaps related to the complex itself.
My downstairs neighbors my first year were extremely rowdy and threw loud, raucous parties several times a week, which was very annoying for someone that had 8:00 am classes! This complex does attract students, so while it is overall quiet, I would recommend earplugs just in case.
Also, about 3 months before I moved out, I started noticing a weird smell like cigarette smoke in my apartment (I don't smoke).
The office and maintenance staff did all they could to try and pinpoint the source, but it still persisted from time to time.
Overall, I would recommend Ramsgate; while there are cheaper places around Denton, Ramsgate is nice, the staff is dependable, and I enjoyed living there.
If I wasn't moving to attend more school out-of-state, I would have stayed.
