My daughter and 2 year old grandaughter lived in these apartments for 1 year - she moved out 9/03. I am very glad. The carpet was disgusting, never replaced and I was very concerned about the health risk to my grandaughter from the filthy carpet. The appliances are from the 50's. Maintenance, another story. It took days to get things done and then they were never fixed right. I think the maintenance people never graduated from high school. The new management that has come in, they are no better than the previous management. She is in a battle right now to get her deposit back, which they say she should be getting. After 1-1/2 mo., no money. She is getting a run around from the "new manager" who is being very dishonest and uncooperative. It has come to the point of contacting TAA and a lawyer. These people need to be put in their place, better yet, the aparments need to be condemned. They are not fit for anyone to live there. The management needs some lessons in people skills and how to "manage", they are terrible. Even though they are cheap, there is a reason, you get what you pay for, along with terrible management. If you are smart, you will not live in this terrible place.
