You can find my first review i wrote about this place, saying how excited i was to be moving into this place on Jan 28th. Me or my bf didn't have any credit so they only charged us an extra $100 on the deposit and the first full months rent was free. There is also a soccer field, tennis courts and basketball courts next door. (i love tennis)Not even 2 days after we moved in and had all out stuff unpacked, i noticed that the bedroom did not have any padding under the carpet, it was just carpet and concrete. And i really didnt feel like moving my stuff out again and waiting on them to move at the speed of smell to lay down some carpet padding. So i just brought it to their attention and Mellisa thought it was funny and suggested that i could move my stuff out of that room and wait for them to lay some down. i told her not to worry bout that its not that big of a deal. The 2nd thing i found wrong was the water heater closet door refused to shut, not that big of a problem but w/e it should have been fixed before hand. and that time it only took 1 day for them to come out and fix it. fastest maintenance service i would see for a couple months. some time in April our A/C went out, now everyone knows that in Texas its already really hot outside by April, so the first time i went to the office to let them know i filled out a work order form and all they did was put freon in it. so naturally not even 2 days later it stopped working again. one week later they put some more freon in it. it didn't even make it one day that time. then it had been a whole month of me and my bf living with the windows open and the fans on before i got sick and tired and went and asked them when they were going to fix my a/c. when i went in there they said it hadn't gotten hot enough that day, it was a bit cooler that day than it had been the entire month, for them to have reason enough to fix it. by this point im completely p*ssed off becuase they were too busy renovating apartments to come and fix a busted a/c unit for one of their current tenants. i had mentioned the fact to my dad just casually lol so naturally he tried to go up there and make them fix it. he never told me what he said but i went up there a couple days later and filled out another work order form and they started working on it that same day. they managed to fix it for a little while, because it broke again in july. in july its way to hot to even think about sleeping one night with out a/c, so i went to the office immediately to fill out another work order form, and that very same day a different repair man that i had never seen b4 came out and checked it out and told me that it was busted and he had some on order but u never know when things are going to show up. so i took that as, find another way to cool urself off. so i went to walmart that same day and bought the cheapest window unit i could find. the very next day he had my a/c fixed and up and running, how messed up is that lol. but yea about what another person was saying about the rail road ties only being replaced with concrete in the front is true and that outside light above my door never worked but people who lived in the front got everything new and painted first and people in the back looked like they lived in a diff country. DONT let them sucker-punch you, dont let their first months free rent pull you in, its not worth it, winter is comming up and do u want to be freezing when ur heater goes out' i think not.
