Basically the Gateway sucks.
It looks nice from the street but trust me you will have "overage fees" ... you will have "late fees" and any other extra fee they can think of.
My roommate and I got the 30 dollar cap on our electricity so we could pay only 30 each month for electricity every month. Or that's what we were told. What they forgot to tell us is that if you go over or if they just feel like charging you you have to also pay the difference. They had audacity to tell my roommate and I that we owed $287 in electricity overages over a MONTH period. Do they really think two people could rack up that much. That's ridiculous. When I called and complained they told me that it was all electricity. Then I went to the office and the story changed. They said I was late on my rent. I paid all my rent on time. All of a sudden I only owe $50 because they dropped late fees. I NEVER OWED ANY LATE FEES GENIUS!!!!
Then all of a sudden I racked up $29 in electricity in a one week period. First of all I'm hardly ever here and my roommate is here even less than I am. SO yea right.
The manager or anyone in charge is never there. When they are there they are somehow always busy. Yea you'll never be able to speak to Mindi.
The maintenance is extremely slow. I called to get my light fixed because it blew out. It took over a WEEK for someone to come fix it. I mean seriously it took 1 minute.
My roommate and I called about ants. It took almost 3 weeks to get somebody over here. We're not dirty AT ALL. I'm a neat freak!! I think Gateway just has a bug problem.
Nobody in the office ever knows anything. And when they do it doesn't make sense. When you ask them about it more than once the story changes.
Why do you think only 36% would actually dare live here. Nobody wants to renew their lease gateway. Ya'll gotta get it together. WE'RE ALL MOVIN OUT!!!
