My husband researched apartments before we moved to Denton and could not find any reviews for Savannah Trails, so he figured they must be fairly new, good apartments. They were affordable, so we decided to sign. It was the BIGGEST mistake we ever made! These apartments were called APPLE CREEK. If you look it up on this website, it did not get any good ratings, and the scary part of all those reviews were they are all true!

Our current apartment is in horrible condition. The toilet is not leveled to the floor. It is in a slant or tilt to the left. Our carpet sucks because it feels like the maintainance people were too lazy to place the padding and goes in between the carpet and the floor. THEY HAVE A MAJOR PIGEON PROBLEM! THEY SIT AND CRAP ALL OVER YOUR BALCONY!!! You have to put netting to keep the pigeons away from the balcony to be able to enjoy it. Our apartment was disgustingly filthy when we moved in, and the cleaning people do not know how to clean properly. I hope they do not get paid, and if they do they should be fired!! The "tiling" or linoleum in the kitchen was not laid down properly. They assured me and my husband that their "head" maintenance guy was working on it. Well, he should get fired for it because it is the crappiest "tiling" job I have ever seen!! There is not enough storage space.
This place has horrible management! They are rude and lazy. The two women that work in the front office don't care about their tenants. Once you sign the lease, they forget about you. For example, they didn't have our lease ready for they the day we were scheduled to move. They have known about our move for a month and they didn't have our lease ready. Why' Because they had 5 move in's that week. Another example, we turned in a work order the first week we moved into this place, and it took them almost a month to do a simple job (like adjust the water). Also they lie to their tenants. My husband and I wanted to move into a smaller apartment, and we requested one in particular about a month before our move out date. Each week, my husband and I would go into the office and ask if we could take a look at the apartment and they would say it's not ready. To make a long story short, we didn't move into the apartment we wanted because they checked if it was damaged the day of our move. You see them in the office all the time, sitting on their lazy asses all day. You have to wonder, what kind or work do they do' We asked the manager lady for a written statement that says our old apartment was free from damages and that we are going to get our deposit back. She said, "No, you can't get it in writing." WHAT KIND OF RESPONSE IS THAT' Isn't the customer always right'' I had to be firm and say we are going to get something in writing that guarantees us that we are going to get our deposit back because this place is known for keeping your deposit even if you leave the apartment in better shape is was in when you first move in. She says she's going to tell the other lady to type up something, and I'm not expecting anything because I know they don't do anything in that office.

The only maintenance guy that is helpful is Esteban. Please do not move here. I am planning to take action with the city about this complex because people cannot be fooled into thinking that this place is decent when it is far from it!
