We drove over 600 miles a week before we were supposed to move in and look at our apartment and sign our lease. I talked to the manager a week before that and she said we could see our apartment. When we came down here ---------refused to show us the apartment because it wasn't ready. She also told us that it was a quiet place and there were no bugs. So she showed us another apartment that was the same floor plan and not an upgrade. We signed the lease and she told us it would be ready in a week. ONE WEEK LATER: we drive back down here and its not ready! They were putting the carpet in when we pulled in! We asked to speak to the manager ---------and she would not talk to us, she refused to. They put us in a hotel and said it would be done in 2 days. TWO DAYS LATER: It wasnt ready! ---------argued with me and kept asking me how I knew it wasnt ready and I told her that I just talked to the maintenance men who were standing around and told us it wasnt ready. TWO MORE DAYS LATER: We check out of the hotel and come to move in and we dont have a refrigerator and our toilet over flows! We also dont even have a window in the bedroom that they said theyd fix before we checked out of the hotel. LATER THAT DAY: They finally put in the refrigerator and forgot to turn the water on to the dishwasher. Still didnt fix the toilet! ONE WEEK LATER: We are infested with roaches!!!! After they turned the water on to the dishwasher...it wont drain! They blamed us and said we stopped it up, we used it once! We dont have a mailbox! The post office told us they were going to stop holding our mail. EVENTUALLY: They fixed the window after 2weeks or so. They got a plumber for the toilet..they put a nasty toilet in to replace it and it makes a LOUD sound every hour or so. We still have roaches...for the first 3 weeks we had the bug man come and spray..STILL HAVE ROACHES! Finally they took another door off of someone elses mail box and put it on ours, they scribbled out their number and with a sharpie wrote in ours. They did a ------ job painting the apartment and cleaning it. There is no state of the art fitness center..its a ---- hole. There is no AC in the room old equipment and its dirty. The laundry center is nasty too. The machines steal your money and the buttons dont work half the time. Our neighbors are loud all the time. People are spray painting the poles outside and the sidewalks. The business center and the internet cafe are the same thing with one computer and the same woman is on it all the time. Its really a ---- hole..no lie! --------and --------are the only two in the office that will help you and are straight forward with whats going on.

Wow, I thought we had it bad. Your situation completely tops ours haha. oh yea you forgot to mention the sprinklers that spray in every direction on the sidewalks and doorways.

I just moved in May.I totally agree I was under the false impressions to.In addition they don't have in upgrades only a few of the apartments do.Which id\s unfair to those who actually need upgrades from the old a/c units,old wood,and bad water units.If we can't take hot showers the way we want then we shouldn't have to pay for water.I think I just want to move.Just break my lease this is absurd I can't take a whole year of this.

Sorry that your not happy with accomoadations, these are old apartments and under renovation. I live here also and never had a problem with roaches, or for that matter anything. ---------has been awesome in providing a cleaner environment for residents to utilize and it is not managements fault that some residents do not care about the property that they live on to comply with cleanliness. This happens to be a great place to live and as far as the biz center goes, many residents go to school online...education first... I was probably the one online.

So I thought I should update my original review of the apartment to let everyone know things are going here now. About a week, maybe a week and a half ago, maintenance finally made their way around to our apartment. They finally hired someone that knows what he is doing and he is trying to make the rounds to fix everything. It took him about 5 minutes to fix the toilet and screen door, and he spent maybe an hour on the roof one morning. The only thing we are still missing in a drawer from the kitchen, and the paint job still isn't so great but I don't imagine they will do anything about that untli we move. We don't see many bugs anymore, but we bought roach traps and hid them everywhere and also use Raid spray. The bug guy apparently hits a building every week, and he has only come when we have signed the book. This won't be an issue since winter is coming, but once summer comes I hope they hire someone new to come once every month or two. The neighbors are still loud, and there is still graffiti on the property. Anyway, so in summary it took them about 2.5 months, but they eventually got their stuff together and fixed things. I still don't plan on renewing my lease when the time comes, but maybe new tenents will have more luck than we did at first.
