Wow, I just read that terrible review. some people just have bad luck I guess but my experience here has been nothing but great. I moved into an upgrade and a few things were wrong but I turned in a job request and everything was fixed the next day!
Everytime i walk into the main office i am greeted with a smile and the manager ---------is SO NICE! Upon signing my lease she made everything so easy and was so excited to help us get into a new apartment. I used to rent with Place To Be in Denton & ---------has totally made the switch worth it!
The pool is cute and very clean!
I feel very safe and cozy in my new apartment. There are NO bugs and our neighbors are so nice!
I attend UNT and there is a bus stop ON the property!
I have zero complaints to make about The Parks of Denton & highly recommend living here!

I was told there was a UNT bus stop on the property as well, but once I got here and looked into it, it seems that the stop is actually for DCTA and doesn't take you to UNT at all. Unless I've misunderstood something, the closest UNT stop(according to their schedule at http://www.unt.edu/etrans/routes.html) is about 2 miles away at the Golden Triangle Mall...

sorry I submitted but didn't finish...
go to www.dcta.net and click on schedules & maps. then click 'connect' which is just for local Denton stops. From there you can look at the schedule which is color coded then you can open up the map which has coordinating colors so you can see where to go.

i currently live here, and yes some of the office staff are nice and others dont seem to care. the people that live around me are very harsh and make up stories to tell the office to get you in to trouble. even though we mind are own busness and dont really talk to anyone. if you go to the office with something wrong if it is not a maintence request they dont care. these apartments are very hostile and for the money that i pay to live here all of the head achs that i had to put up with are not worth it.
