a/c works great. problems with roaches and ants. carpeting poorly laid. "wood" floors peeling up. no screen for balcony. our balcony has not been completely painted. water pressure and water heat spectacular. occasional problems with water backing up and/or leaks. maintenance has been good to us so far, but my favorite maintenance person is no longer working here. i find that unfortunate because he often went out of his way to make sure we were in a safe environment. sinks and bathtub painted white *what the heck'!'!'!* often chips, peels, and stains. melissa in the office has been a very important reason for me not wanting to up and leave, but one staff member is not going to convince me to renew my lease when the time comes. The lease agreement says there will be NO working on cars in the parking lot, no exceptions. I had to find new parking because new cars were being brought in and worked on CONSTANTLY. neighbors are friendly for the most part. Some people need to watch their kids more closely in my opinion though. We've had children we don't know randomly follow us into our apartment and it's hard to tell them to leave because they don't seem to understand much english. the pool furniture they recently added is a great improvement. the laundry room sucks to be frank. there are only 12 washers and 12 dryers and they are small capacity. the dryers don't completely dry clothes * no i don't over fill. i have 2 laundry tote bags and when those 2 are full it requires 4 machines for washing and 4 for drying* can't think of anything else currently

I completely agree with you on Melissa. It if wasn't for her, I would have seriously gone insane! I was here for about a year and I did not like it at all! When it started to get humid and hot, my AC stopped working. I put in a service request to get it fixed and one of the maintenance guys (not the one with the long hair...he was nice) kept on making excuses as to why he had yet to fix it. He was a huge jerk and very rude! There were waaay too many people working on their cars outside, I hated arriving to my aparment late at night because of the creepy people drinking near my apartment, hated the roaches (I kept my apartment extremely clean but they still came) and I couldn't stand the Dollar General shopping carts people would leave in front of my apartment! I am soo glad that my lease ended. Melissa and the maintenance man with the long hair were the only good things about the Parks of Denton.
