I have lived here since 2005. When I decided to sign a lease here a few people told me not to...I should have listened! When we moved in we were told that our carpets would be cleaned and if we needed the furniture moved storage was no problem. Well...when we came to move in storage was $10 a month to store the ridge's own furniture! We were also told that we would be getting the "new furniture"...well we had ugly blue furniture that looked like it needed to be cleaned. Our carpets reeked of cat pee..and there was even an empty can of cat food under one of the beds..along with a bra (so we know they weren't even looked at)! They finally after 3 months came and replaced one of my roomies rooms with new carpet (it wasn't even the same kind of carpet as the rest of the apt)...and a few weeks later they came and replaced the rest with a different color of the new carpet (so now it is two-toned)!!! The people in the office are a joke! Whenever you talk to one person they tell you one thing and then you talk to someone else and they tell you another..and so on. The manager is NEVER there. The one time I actually got to talk to her she said we could come and ask her for anything at anytime...well I went back to talk to her...and she acted like I was bothering her. The pool/hot-tub is ALWAYS broken...have maybe been in it twice since moving here. For a while we had an ant problem in our showers and we called maintenance and it took a month for a pest man to come out. We have had a few problems with our smoke detectors going off at 2 a.m. in the morning...the emergency maintenance is a JOKE..b/c we called them over 5 times and they NEVER called back...so after listening to them going off for over 45 mins...we had to call the fire department to come out and tell us that the reason they were going off was b/c they hadn't been replaced in so long. The internet also NEVER works. The people from Ignition came out to tell us that it was our firewalls so we turned them off...then it still wasn't working...so they came back out to tell us that we had the fastest connection they had ever seen (whatever!). Dial-Up is faster than this so-called high-speed! Also, when we first came to check out the apartments the "example" they showed us was NOTHING like what the apartments really look like. Apparently the rooms are supposed to be the same size..well they aren't...I got the smallest room in the whole apartment and I barely have room to walk in-between my bed and dresser...the doors in my room open into each other...so if the bathroom door is opened and you open my bedroom door all you hear is this loud bang...and it gets annoying! One last thing....if you do happen to end up moving to this place make sure you have a parking sticker...they apparently hired a company to come and tow anyone who doesn't have a ridge sticker on their car...well they are even towing people that have stickers on their cars...and if you have visitors they have to park in the back of the complex...so if you live near the front they have to walk across an under-lit parking lot! Before moving in please take into consideration everything that I have said...the apartments look nice but aren't worth the hassle that goes along with them. Basically I can't wait to move out..there is no way I am re-signing my lease!


P.S.(Its so bad that the people that work here are the only ones that give good ratings and thats just so people will look and think they aren't as bad as they really are, and can make money off of you!)
