Pros and Cons

I have lived in these townhomes for a while now and just like anything else there are pros and cons.
I'll give you the good news first. The townhomes are very spacious, especially for the price. You get approximately 1200sq. ft. for around $700 per month. The townhomes come with a small fenced in yard.
Now for the bad news. The townhomes are in a bad location. The surrounding area is horribly ugly and the landscaping around the townhomes themselves is nonexistent. In addition, there are some rundown apartments that seperate several of the townhome cul-de-sacs . The inside of my townhome is in "fair" condition. A few problems I have experienced are: damaged sheet rock, a running toilet, a leaky roof, peeling paint, and bugs.
One thing that really irritates me is the fact that all of the grass in my backyard is dead. It's dead because the maintenance crew never trims the huge tree that cover my yard. Honestly, I'd rather not have a yard at all if the grass is dead. It just makes the backyard look ugly.
Overall, the number one reason to live here is affordability. If that's what you're number one priority is, then this is your place. Otherwise, I would throw in an extra hundred dollars and find somewhere more attractive to live.
