The owner of this complex came across as prejudiced and racial. A formal complaint was made to the Housing Authority. When Judy was there as Manager, she treated people fairly and offered GREAT service to ALL tenants. New Manager, Tara, not so much...Much older community not so kid friendly...My kids were scolded for playing football outside!!! Red Bird Village has nothing to offer children other than two old fashioned swimming pools that are only opened from Late Spring to Early Summer!!!

I'd be curious to know what you mean by "not kid friendly." Does this mean the manager actually dared to ask you to have consideration for other tenants and not let your kids rampage all over the place and do whatever they want? I don't have kids, don't want kids, and don't want extra hassles because you're too lazy to take care of yours. So I'd love to live in a place that doesn't indulge the whims of self-centered irresponsible parents.

To elaborate on what I mean by "not so kid friendly"...my RESPECTFUL and CURTEOUS children were scolded for playing FOOTBALL outside in the yard!!! This is not a family oriented environment...

What side do you live on? I live on the link dr. side. I haven't had any problems with my children...yet. I play with them outside sometimes but make sure we do so at a good time before the sun sets and i know that some may be getting ready for bed early.
