I moved in these apts in Aug of 2008. I was impressed by the model apt and the staff seemed friendly. I went to pick up my key on a fri before work and was told I couldn't pick it up b/c they were still painting. I explained that the office would be closed by the time I got off so I needed to pick it up now. Well after being given the run around for about 45 mins, I finally received the key. When I moved in I noticed things were not done properly. The cabinets were painted shut. The sink in the kitchen was
porcelain and was scratched up horribly. The oven was nasty. Blinds were dusty, tubs not clean (ring around both tubs), washer connection leaked (took two wks to fix). A/C unit went out memorial day weekend called emergency maintence no one responded sat, sun, mon, I called all weekend long. I live upstairs the thermostat registered at 90 degrees. I expressed to mgmt that I was upset and had to stay in a hotel and her response was my a/c was out as well. I pay rent on time every month and they do not receive any complaints about me. I contacted upper mgmt about the sheer incompetence of the staff at wimberly park.
I've asked for the shower to be fixed 3 times it still has not been done. All they care about there is getting you to sign a lease and once that's done you're on your own with everything else.
Praise God my lease is up next month. Im on the first thing smokin' out of here!!!! BEWARE
