This is my first apartment, so I dont have a lot to comapre it ot but I love it. They are really friendly and I have privacy here unlike at the dorms ( i hated sharing a bathroom.ugh) I pay $399 and that includes everything. Its also really close to campus and the rec center.

I live at veranda too and it SUCKS there has never been a worse place to live the managers and staff say whatever will make you sign and not read the contract they have you sign so that even if you want to move out you cant unless you pay as though youre still living there

This place is utterly horrible, besides the propaganda veranda constantly spreads through the valley like "The Safe Place to Live" which is also the place that two weeks after opening there was four stabbing where two people died two severely injured. I went through three tours with three different employees all with different answer all not true. they will tell you all utilities are paid and then youll get an electricity bill of 80 dollars extra per roommate. Maintenance is horrible take forever for something to get done and hardly ever done right the first time. My car got towed from here because apparently you have to pay extra per month to park underneath the hooded parking and today I was looking over my contract and it says clearly that I must receive a written warning ten days before they tow my car... didn't even get a call. The place is a mess, broken bottles, cigarette buds and litter everywhere and now there want to charge me alone hundred of dollars if I don't perfectly clean my apartment. Seriously charging me $30 is i dont dust one part of the couch or the desk, ten dollars PER blind I don't dust. My other three roommates all bailed on the contract while I stuck to it because I didn't want to ruin my rent history and when they left they eventually came and cleaned their rooms for free. $25 bucks per bag of trash they fill if they need to clean my place up. There is absolutely nothing good about this place if you think $400 per person per month is a great deal you should run into a oncoming traffic. THATS $1600 you and your friends are paying per month. Go rent a beautiful home at that price. also yea you cant move out unless you find an idiot to take your room for the remainder of your lease

veranda place ------- SUCKS, id rather be --- and fat than live there. also michelle myers the "main" ----- in charge is ruthless and stupid she thinks she is a great person she will go to your job and say your giving out the gate code ....she is pathetic. and the apts arent safe at alll actually they dont meet up to osha standards seeing as how the door room and bathroom door collide when both opened hmm pretty ----ed up right, they charge you for all this nonsense ---- you have nothing to do with and expect you to pay it, if your a fool go sign a contract with veranda place 4600 hundred dollars a year to live in helll hmmmm kinda expensive seeing as how ill be living there for free once i die.....and if veranda place is anything like hell iam gonna start going to church so i can make it to heaven....oh ya they break into cars there more often then pornstars ----, nothing ever works right there, my shower would make strange noises as if it were possesed my dishwasher sucked as well, the beds are ------- hard, the closet doors always fell off, it was mardi gras every ------- night "thats no joke"...maintenance took a decade to fix ----, my friend had to go dry his clothes at a laundry mat because his dryer was ----ed up and they never fixed it.....theres abunch of bums hanging around smoking pot, drinking fortys and ya its not a safe place to live if it was so safe how did four people get stabbed exactly ten days after opening hmmm ill take my chances in iraq its probably safer there than at veranda place apts the SAFE PLACE TO LIVE the sign should say veranda place the PLACE TO SMOKE DRUGS,GET STABBED POSSIBLY KILLED AND GET LAID, ya iam down .....GO ---- YOUR SELF PLACE PROPERTIES!!!!!
