The complex used to be okay. Then it went under new ownership. the required maintenance stopped getting done. This is the first year the air conditioning has worked this early. (Granted, it's still very early in the season with the hottest months yet to come.) Constant problems with bigotry in certain members of the management staff make it impossible to get any kind of respect at all from anyone in the complex. Complaints of said issue fall on deaf ears if they are understood at all. The pools are "shocked" once a week. Little good that does, since the other required daily maintenance is ignored. I have seen them go from semi-clear and blue to murky brown in two days. Not to mention the fact that the EPA could almost declare them a separate eco-system for the myriad of different types of algae that will stay happily at the bottom of their shallow depths no matter what chemicaks thewy chose to burn our skin with this year. If you plan on parking actually at the complex, generally you can plan on having your vehicle vandalized by the "gang-bangers" that like to hang around outside the aprtment buildings in a pseudo-threatening manner throwing trash and miscellaneous objects in the rancid pools. Only an illegal immigrant can get any sort of respect at all from these people.The parking spaces for tenants are usually taken up by bar-hoppers and taxi cabs on the weekends. On any given day you can expect to be woken up by a Latin derivative of polka music(sans tuba) from the parking lot or neighborring apartments. Furniture fills the dumpsters sometime to overflowing and some of the tenants will leave trash on the lawn or in front of their own apartments. Not especially hazardous, but it is an eye-sore and the gnat problem has gotten outrageous.Several times i have witnessed the beginning of a beating up of a child by their peers either as a part of the ego-destroying bullying process or a gang initiation. Little or nothing has ever really been done about that by management. The government run code enforcement cannot even "scare" them into getting the complex up to par. As for maintenance, they are kept employed by the fact that they spend at least two hours a day and three on Mondays picking up trash that has been left on a daily basis on the lawn. Sometimes it's debatable if it gets done at all. Living here for five years has done wonders for my rental history, but the reccomendation still stands. MOVE ELSEWHERE! x-2PE3sjUIIeetAHoKOk
