I DO NOT recommend this apartment complex!!! I have lived at this complex since January and have had nothing but bad experiences. My car as well as two other cars were broken into on 7/27/06. The gates were not working at this time. I feel that management should be partially responsible, they told me when I moved in that they were getting the gates fixed. Seven months have gone by and the gates still haven't been fixed. I would have never moved into this complex if I would have known that they had no intentions on ever fixing the gates. I know living in a gated community is not a guarantee that crime won't occur but it does help prevent this type of activity because it makes it harder for criminals. I keep asking myself would this have happened if the gates were working. I believe it wouldn't have, this incident happened in the early morning hours when there's not a lot of people coming in and out of the gates which makes it harder for criminals to get in. I called to speak to the manager about this problem, they basically told me there's nothing that they can do and they are not required by law to fix the gates. I wish I would have known this before I signed my lease. I am miserable at this complex. I can not wait until my lease is up. The walls are paper thin, I can hear everything my neighbors are doing. Last month my air conditioning unit stopped working. I called maintenance at 9:00pm to report the problem they told me that they don't do night calls and that it wasn't an emergency. This is the summer time in Texas, how can you not consider that an emergency!!! I am counting down the days until my lease is up. Moving here was one of the worst mistakes I have ever made!!!

hey,just know that you have more important things to do with your life and hopefully your lease will be up soon. mine is almost up, i HATE it there but, just focus your energy on making more money and that's the best way to get back at those Jerks in the office.
