3 words: NO TRASH PICKUP - worst sight of the complex is the disgusting, smelly compactor right in front of the complex, overflowing with trash on a regular basis. Great view, right'

Lazy, half-witted staff. Don't expect much from those 'tards.

Cheap paint, carpet, buildings, and maintenance standards.

Becoming a ghetto for the area kids without pools and yards to come hang around at during the day....and sometimes into the night. Have fun if you live by the pool....nice and noisy for ya.

They have one gated entrance and exit of which the gates are broken a lot....and not to mention..they charge a nonrefundable fee to "borrow" a gate clicker that you will return at the end of your lease.

Last but certainly not least....MANDATORY CABLE. This effin bullcrap is ONE thing they FAIL to mention as you SIGN YOUR LEASE! Whether you watch it or not, you PAY FOR IT!

If you don't heed the warnings....you WILL be angry at yourself later. RUN AWAY FROM COLONIAL!

I lived here 2 years ago and your review is very accurate. This place does look fairly nice from afar but close up you can see that this complex is showing it's age and management was never proactive when I was there with problems regarding broken security gates, exercise equipment. I got sucked into this place by a low teaser rate and a large rent increase I decided I don't need to live in this trashy place.

Sadly, this is just the CV way. They do not care. They lie to your face. They do not follow up. If you follow up, they consider you a troublemaker, claim you're obviously unhappy and suggest letting you out of your lease to make you go away so that they do not have to do what they are paid to do. And if you stay to hold them accountable, they will commit slander to your neighbors and libel on this site (all endorsed and encouraged by management). They have no respect for the tenants and no sense of honor.

Colonial management and staff are not to be trusted. I hate to suggest such a thing, but they have proven themselves again and again to be unworthy of the trust they are given.
